Indifferently received by critics on its initial release, it is now widely considered to be among Bowie’s most underrated albums. Although grouped with Low and Heroes as a Berlin album it was actually recorded in Switzerland and New York. It is held by many to be Bowie’s first album proper. Several of the songs were not performed live by Bowie so this is a rare opportunity to hear them performed.
The second set will be a largely acoustic set with more of Bowie’s ballads to reflect the folky nature of the theme album.
